FAQ
Consultations
Getting started is simple.
Just complete our Postpartum Care Request Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ADpHJ4BlgqmPJ19JYw-4_IVybNqtdqMdWS5vsZrMHTo/prefill.
This helps us understand your needs so we can provide you with a tailored quote.
Once we receive your form, here’s what will happen step by step:
1. 30-min Phone Consultation – Our postpartum care consultant will introduce our services, pricing, and answer your questions via Google Meet or phone.
2. Meet Your Maternity Nurse – You’ll have a friendly interview with your recommended nurse to ensure the best match.
3. Agreement, Deposit & Matching Fee – A three-way contract will be signed, and once the deposit and matching fee are paid, your maternity nurse’s schedule will be officially reserved.
4. Support Group – We’ll create a dedicated WhatsApp group with your maternity nurse and our team so you always feel supported and connected.
5. Resource Pack – You’ll receive our carefully prepared guides and checklists to help you get ready with confidence.
6. Final Preparation Call – Before your due date, we’ll schedule a detailed call to go through postpartum essentials and answer any last questions.
7. Herbal Meals & Foot Baths – With guidance from a Taiwanese TCM doctor, our team will help prepare customized herbal meals and foot baths tailored to your body’s needs during confinement.
Then all you need to do is rest with peace of mind and look forward to your baby’s arrival. We’ll take care of everything by arranging a seamless all-in-one postpartum care service giving you a recovery experience that goes beyond expectations.
Our fees depend on your location, and we usually accept bookings within a one-hour travel distance. Home visits are available on working days in Amsterdam, Amstelveen, and Utrecht, depending on our existing schedule.
Please don’t worry — our team is made up of warm and caring professionals who are not only highly qualified and trained, but also truly experienced in supporting new moms and babies with heart and patience.
The first in-home consultation with our lactation consultant is €150, and each follow-up consultation is €95. After your consultation, you’ll receive a detailed invoice, and we kindly ask you to complete the transfer at your convenience.
We’ll find a time that works best for you and send you a few tips to get ready. Consultations are done via Google Meet, which is very easy to use. The atmosphere is relaxed — you can even stay cozy in bed while we talk. After the session, we’ll send you an invoice and a secure payment link.

Pregnancy can feel full of uncertainties, but your postpartum support shouldn’t be one of them. To make sure your spot is guaranteed, we kindly ask for a deposit early in pregnancy. Once it’s received, your place is safely reserved in our calendar.
Absolutely! Your meals can be tailored to your dietary needs, allergies, and recovery requirements (for example, leaving out garlic or scallions). You can enjoy a wide variety of nourishing and comforting cuisines.
The remaining balance is due within 7 days after your care ends. This gives you time to settle in with your little one first.
We completely understand — life with a newborn can be unpredictable. A small €50 deposit is required before the visit, but if something comes up, we’ll do our best to reschedule your home consultation without any hassle.
Your family’s safety is our priority. All of our team members are vaccinated against COVID-19, Tdap, seasonal flu, and pneumococcal so you can feel reassured that your care is in safe and caring hands.

Breastfeeding
We offer home visits, including evenings and weekends — often at short notice if you need urgent support. A typical session lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. During this time, your consultant will gently observe a feeding, answer your questions, and work with you to create a plan that feels right for you and your baby. Before the visit, you’ll receive a short questionnaire so we can better understand your birth story, health, and feeding journey.
To make the most of the session, it helps if your baby is a little hungry when we arrive. If possible, try to keep the last feed about 1–1.5 hours before the consultation, or offer just a small amount (around 30ml). This way, we can comfortably observe a full feeding together.
Every family’s feeding journey is unique. Whether you are exclusively breastfeeding, mixed feeding, or formula feeding, we’re here to support you with respect and encouragement.
Yes. We provide gentle compassionate support for all breastfeeding goals including gradual weaning or complete cessation always at a pace that feels comfortable for you and your baby.
This is such a common question, and you’re not alone in feeling this way. We will work with you to create a plan that fits your goals, working hours, and childcare arrangements, so you can continue breastfeeding with confidence even after returning to work.
